Many CDJ readers have requested pictures of my home. Let's start with the dining room (because that's the cleanest room in the house.) Please keep in mind photography is not a talent of mine.
Dinning room before we moved in:
Dining room after:
Notice the mark on the table? That is from the birthday candle incident. Next on the to-do list: paint the table and chairs, in addition to making new seat cushions. I am considering liming the table or chairs and painting the other some shade of white. Thoughts?
I wanted to open up the wall between the living room and dining room without investing much time or money (since this is a rental). Where did I turn? To HomeGoods of course!
$16.99 each! (Painted to mirrors with extra paint I used for the trim)
It adds some architectual detail, while creating the illusion of more space and light.
Cheers!
Elizabeth
"Think about the photo before and after, never during. The secret is to take your time. You mustn't go too fast. The subject must forget about you. Then, however, you must be very quick.
~ Henri Cartier-Bresson
