Furniture Finds

Antique stores, thrift and consignment shops... I break for them all. Here are some recent bargain discoveries.

A pair of faux bamboo Chinese Chippendale chairs.  Incredibly sturdy.

A double Henredon campaign dresser, in fantastic shape.

Love the brass hardware and the feet of this teak dresser.

This 1940's mahogany secretary has beautiful lines.

Painting and reupholstering are on hold until we move. Once I decide on furniture placement, work will begin.  The possibilities are exhilarating, while the amount of time required is terrifying.
Stay tuned.

Cheers!

  1. Where did you find the double Henredon campaign dresser? I scouted Craigslist and Kijiji for ages for this to no avail. I'm in Toronto, any good vintage source you could share?
