Mission (Almost) Complete

For nearly 2 years I've searched for the perfect dining room table and chairs (for my mom's dining room).  The square room features high ceiling, tons natural light, and a fantastic water view.  Keeping that in consideration a round-shape table in a beautiful wood finish and low open back chairs were essential.  Fortunately one of my daily Craig's List treasure hunts lead me to this:

In addition to meeting my requirements, the beautiful custom-made English table and chairs were a fantastic deal.  Gotta love CL!

The (my) plan is to lacquer the chairs white and recover the seats.  Due to the constant flow of bathing suit clad visitors often accompanied by four-legged friends, the material must be durable.  Sunbrella and other indoor/outdoor type fabrics was my first consideration, but the selection is limited.

beautiful ostrich embossed leather could be a great alternative.

On the other hand a  DIY oilcloth project  could open the door to endless possibilities...

Whatever we decide on I will be sure to share pictures.
