Afternoon Snack: Built-Ins

These double-sided built-ins, by Mallory Mathison, make the perfect doorway.  The living room and dining room are separated, yet there is a unity to the two spaces.  In the living room, the shelves are open to the floor, allowing the homeowner to display collectibles and books.  On the reverse side, the bottom half, comprised of drawers and cabinets, provide additional storage.
